ABSTRACT | ||
The Vedic knowledge reaches its perfection in the Upanishads. Upanishads reflect deep spiritual consciousness & advanced philosophical thought. Like the Vedas, the Upanishads are still considered to be philosophical works that reveal the deep secrets of human life and give spiritual peace. The sage of the Ishopanishad is in fact a poet, and the Ishopanishad is not only a philosophical work but is also full of poetic beauty. The basic principles of poetry are Alangkara, Guna, Riti, Dwani, Rasa etc. In the Ishopanishad, all these poetic principles have become unwanted materials in the voice of the sage without any effort, the strong philosophical expression of the Upanishad writer has taken the form of literature. All the elements of poetic beauty as expressed by the poets of poetry are present in full measure in the Ishopanishad. | ||
