Writer Balaichand Mukhopadhyay, who is popularly known as Banaphul, has contributed a lot to the Bengali fictional literature in twentieth century. Like Conan Doyle, Archibald Joseph Cronin, Somerset Maugham, Anton Chekhov— Banaphul was also professionally a doctor. Impact of professional experiences of Balaichand in the novel and short stories may be considered as a significant and exceptional contribution in Bengali literature. In this research article we have mainly focused on the first novel of Balaichand Mukhopadhyay ‘Trinakhanda’ which was published at his young age in 1935. Professional experiences, poetic sense and philosophical thought of the writer have merged in ‘Trinakhana’ artistically and the writer presented that with literary excellence. In this research work we will also highlight how the writer revealed the hopes and aspirations of human mind in artistic manner. | ||
