ABSTRACT | ||
Shamsur
Rahaman, a dedicated poet in his life, wanted to understand the contemporary
and the time in the socio-political context. Many of his poems have emerged
from politics and mass struggle. Surroundings are the sounds of rural decay,
the weariness of life, isolation, failure and corruption. He saw that during
the liberation war, everyone wanted to run away and live, Unna’s mother running
like a forest deer with a newborn baby on her chest. During the liberation war,
the determination to wrest freedom from the ruler was declared in the poem ‘Bandi
Shibir’. The strong voice of the poet against all inequality has been raised in
this poem. Poet wrote dreams of liberation and freedom from our daily life. | ||
