Refund Policy
Publication Fee Refund Policy
Atmadeep aims to provide clarity regarding the refund policy for publication fees (also known as Article Processing Charges or APCs). Please read this policy carefully before making any payments.
1. Payment of Publication Fees
- Authors are required to pay the publication fee after their manuscript is accepted for publication.
- Payment covers the costs associated with editorial work, peer review management, typesetting, DOI, Plagiarism Check and publication.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
a. Overpayment:
- If an author accidentally overpays the publication fee, the excess amount will be refunded.
b. Withdrawal of Manuscript Before Publication:
- If an author formally withdraws the manuscript before it has been published, a partial refund may be considered.
- A processing fee may be deducted to cover administrative costs incurred during submission and peer review.
3. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds are not provided in the following situations:
- The manuscript is retracted or withdrawn after publication.
- Authors request a refund after the article is published online.
4. Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing to editor@atmadeep.in
- The request should include the author’s name, article title, manuscript ID, payment details, and a reason for the refund request.
- Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7 Working days.
5. Currency and Transaction Fees
- Refunds will be issued in the original payment currency.
- Any transaction fees or bank charges associated with refunds are the responsibility of the author unless the error was on our part.
