ABSTRACT | ||
The great epic Mahabharata contains many gems of wisdom, and among them the Yaksha Yudhiṣṭhira Prashnattorparva or dialogue is important one. In the Vana Parva, the dialogue between Yaksha, the God of Dharma, and his son Yudhiṣṭhira unfolds as a philosophical inquiry into the nature of righteous living and the ultimate purpose of human existence. The Yaksha’s numerous questions, broadly aligned with the domains of Dharma and Moksha, serve as a gateway to understand both ethical conduct and the spiritual destiny of human life. This article will examine the multidimensional nature of dharma as reflected in this dialogue. | ||
