ABSTRACT | ||
In recent decades, we have seen many confrontations between man and wild animal. Our activities and actions are responsible for making animal in compulsion with inevitable confrontation. Lack of food, existential crisis makes them so furious. But there is a little space in the world where man fells love and affection for animals. For this reason the story writers can not ignore and avoid this. They depict this type of affection vividly in their short stories, at their best level. Like other literatures Bengali literature can not be apart from this area, we find so many short story writers who became so popular by writing this type creation. In this context, we recall the renowned Bengali short story writers and their immemorable short stories like ‘Mahesh’, ‘Adorini’, ‘ Lambokorno’, ‘Kalapahar’, ‘Nari o Nagini’ and ‘Goghno’ etc. Thease short stories have shown unselfish love between man and animal besides reflection of society. | ||
