ABSTRACT | ||
Bimal Kar wrote the novel Yaduvansha, set in a turbulent period in the 20th century; this work is a culmination of the love, frustration, conflict and vacillation of the youth of the sixties. The intricate characters actually reflect the multifaceted voices of that time. Despite the negativity, the characters cannot be denied, but rather a sense of compassion is aroused towards them. Bimal Kar's presentation makes the reader empathize with those characters. | ||
