Every person living in society survives through his own view point, meditation, thinking and deep self-esteem. These meditative ideas and feelings are shaking from the human being. This debut is made as a poet in the literary world, some as a novelist or story teller. There come the authors, environmental situation, justice, love, events and various simple and complex stories. Jagadish Gupta (1886-1957) made his poet in the next Bengali fiction, but later he got a permanent seat as a prominent short storyteller. He expressed a unique creation of his deep life in his literary work. In the middle of the twentieth century, Jagadish Gupta was very exceptional than other storytellers. Because in his story there is no mention of natural beauty or any romantic event or character. He is a very destiny writer. In his composition comes the sharp images of the dark complexity of the human mind. The human characters in his story are seen in selfishness, sexuality, greed, hatred and scientific mindset. He has shown to the reader society of Bengal that the greed, sexuality, selfishness of human being takes people and how tragic it can be. Author Jagadish Gupta has shown a finger in the eyes of the society through his literary work, the tragic scene of the pain of the woman’s mind. He is a man even though he seems to have seen and felt very closely. This is a remarkable description in his short story. The craft of his kind of tragic scenario gives the reader to the heart. These topics by author Jagadish Gupta led the Bengali short story to a new direction. | ||
