ABSTRACT | ||
This world is another widely studied subject of philosophy like matter, life, mind, sense-organs, soul and Supreme Soul. Although the nine philosophical school in Indian Philosophy like the nine Planets in the sky is discussed about the world, the exceptional thinking of Advaita Vedanta Philosophy regarding the world is a novel matter. Because Advaita Vedantas hold the opinion that Brahman is true, the world is false and the soul and Brahman are identical. In view of such a conclusion of Advaita Vedanta, the questions that arise in our mind are - if everything is Brahman and if Brahman is the only true object, then what is this constantly changing world? And what is the cause of this visible world? Since in the world of philosophical thought, everything is bound by the chain of cause and effect. In the present article, an attempt will be made to establish that Brahman is both the efficient cause and material cause of the world thorough analysis of the doctrine of Advaita Vedanta, with the help of various core texts. | ||
