ABSTRACT | ||
One of the famous fiction writers of contemporary Bengali literature is Prafulla Roy. He came to India with the pain of partition in the year of 1947. Refugee problem, civic life issues were the main subjects of his novels and stories. Most of the studies have been done mainly on these two topics. However, in his various novels, protesting female characters are featured. Among them, I will try to highlight in this research paper the uniqueness of Nirupama's character in the novel ‘Adwitiya’. | ||
