ABSTRACT | ||
Dineshchandra Sen had taken the opportunity to present the Lord Krishna with His two prominent identities – Lover Krishna & Ruler Krishna in his two fictional writings ‘Muktachuri’ and ‘Rakhaler Rajgi’. In ‘Muktachuri’, Krishna is the God of Love; He has come to spread the spirit of love in the world. On the other hand, in ‘Rakhaler Rajgi’, Krishna is the ideal king, who has not forgotten the power and necessity of love for living. Dineshchandra is biased on the identity of Krishna, as the ideal Lover. So, after being the King, Krishna, in ‘Rakhaler Rajgi’, preferred the Bamboo Flute inspite of Sword or Crown. Without any hesitation, Krishna can speak to Brinda Duti, not to be afraid from Him; till now the leg-dust of Radha is more precious than the royal crown. Now-a-days, the spirit of love is decreasing and the spirit of power is increasing incredibly. This is not a good sign for our civilization. Keeping it in mind, Dineshchandra Sen, wished that the spirit of Lover Krishna should be more valuable to us. Love only can produce more and more ‘Mukta’ (The Pearl), by which the society will be more livable. Simultaneously, spirit of showing power should be abolished, so that relations become more precious day by day. The idea of Dineshchandra, we think very important and should be practised with great care. | ||
